Jim joined LS Power in 2005 and serves as Vice Chairman and is a member of the Investment Advisory Committee.
Jim is the former Head of Private Equity and helped establish LS Power Equity Advisors as a premier investor in power and energy infrastructure. Prior to joining LS Power, Jim served as a Managing Director in Credit Suisse’s Energy Investment Banking Group where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions in the utility and independent power sectors. Previously, Jim was an Associate at Kendall Capital Partners and an Analyst at Drexel Burnham Lambert.
Jim received a B.A. in Economics, magna cum laude, and an M.A. in Economics with honors from Tufts University.
