David Nanus

David Nanus joined LS Power in 2005 and serves as President of LS Power Equity Advisors.

David leads all investment activities for LS Power’s private funds business, and is a member of the Management, Investment, Risk and Valuation Committees. David is the Chairman of the board of EVgo, Inc. (NASDAQ: EVGO), and serves as a director on the boards of REV Renewables, Clearlight Energy, Opterra Energy and other LS Power portfolio companies.

Prior to joining LS Power, David held positions in investment banking with Lazard Freres’ Power and Energy practice and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, where he was a member of both the Financial Sponsors and Global Energy practices. David began his career with Arthur Andersen in the Transaction Advisory Services and Audit Groups where he performed due diligence and provided accounting advice related to private equity transactions.

David is an Emeritus member of the Cornell University Dyson School of Business Undergraduate Program Advisory Council and an incoming member of the Cornell Atkinson Center for Sustainability Advisory Council. David is a past president of the Board of Trustees of Solomon Schechter Day School of Bergen County, and a past member of the Board of Trustees of Success Academy NYC Charter Schools.

David received a B.S. in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University and an M.B.A. with honors from Columbia Business School.
