John Staikos
General Counsel
John joined LS Power in 2005 and serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for the Firm.
John is also a member of the Management Committee and the Investment Committee. Previously, John served as General Counsel for LS Power’s private funds business for two decades. Prior to joining LS Power, John was a member of the Global Projects and Energy Group at Paul, Hastings, where he represented private equity funds, independent power producers and other financial institutions in all aspects of energy specific mergers and acquisition transactions and project financings.
John received a B.A. from the State University of New York at Oswego and a J.D. cum laude from Albany Law School of Union University.
