West Deptford Energy Station: Giving Back and Strengthening Community Connections

LS Power’s West Deptford Energy Station continues its #GivingTuesday efforts by making impactful contributions to local communities and organizations. In 2024 alone, we have already donated over $12,000 to local groups and causes such as the Clearview High School Math Department’s Fun Run, the Gloucester County Nature Club, the Law Enforcement Memorial Run, the Ron Jaworski Golf Event, the West Deptford High School Music Department, and the Valerie Fund Annual Walk & 5K Run (fundraiser to support NJ children with cancer and blood disorders).

In addition to our financial support, we were thrilled to host a recent visit from LS Power’s HR team at the West Deptford Energy Station site. The visit provided an opportunity to engage with our dedicated team, gain valuable insights into the day-to-day operations, and strengthen our commitment to maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment. It also gave us a chance to further deepen our ties to the local community, reinforcing our belief that a strong workplace culture extends beyond the office walls.

Through these efforts at West Deptford and across our broader LS Power network, we are grateful for the opportunity to give back to the communities that have supported us over the years.
