Powering Our Communities: LS Power Gives Back in the Bay Area

Community

At LS Power, beyond building energy infrastructure that supports North American grid reliability, we are honored to have the opportunity to give of our money and time to strengthen the communities around where we live and work.

As part of these community efforts, we joined forces with local nonprofits this summer to make a tangible difference for our neighbors in need.

Supporting Front Door Communities

We donated $5,000 on behalf of our Power Santa Clara Valley Project to Front Door Communities, which enabled the assembly and distribution of 1,000 nutritious lunches, ensuring that more individuals in our community have access to healthy meals.

The Front Door Communities nonprofit serves vulnerable, low-income, and at-risk men, women, and families in downtown San Jose by providing critical resources and support.

We are proud to stand alongside this incredible organization in their mission to uplift those facing hardship.

Partnering with Guadalupe River Park Conservancy

Additionally, the Power Santa Clara Valley Project contributed $7,500 to sponsor the Guadalupe River Park Conservancy’s “Window on the River Park” event. The Conservancy works tirelessly to restore and maintain the beautiful Guadalupe River Park & Gardens, a vital green space for the San Jose community.

Our dedicated LS Power Grid team members were on hand at the event, joining neighbors, volunteers, and local leaders to celebrate the park and its role as a gathering place for all.

Fueling the Fight Against Hunger with TCV Food Bank

Through our Power the South Bay Project, we extended our community support efforts with the donation of $5,000 to the TCV Food Bank + Mobile Pantry — Alameda County’s largest direct-to-client hunger relief organization. This contribution will help provide 1,200 meals to individuals and families facing food insecurity.

We were honored to join the TCV Mobile Food Pantry in action, delivering fresh and healthy food to those who need it most. Supporting organizations like TCV is a vital part of our commitment to creating a stronger, healthier future for the communities we serve.

At LS Power, we know that our projects are only as strong as the communities that support them. We are grateful to partner with organizations like Front Door Communities, the Guadalupe River Park Conservancy, and TCV Food Bank, whose impact goes far beyond a single meal or event. Together we can make a difference.
