LS Power’s Rise Light & Power Hosts 4th Annual Thanksgiving Giveaway

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, LS Power company Rise Light & Power embraced the giving spirit in their fourth annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway. Working alongside partners Share for Life Foundation and Urban Upbound, Rise employees Wil Fischer and Sid Nathan spent a beautiful fall afternoon on Friday, November 18th in Queens to provide families with what they need for a great Thanksgiving dinner. Over the course of just a few hours, 1,000 turkeys were gifted to Astoria, Ravenswood, Queensbridge and Woodside residents. Each turkey weighed in between 10-14 lbs, ready to feed a family of 4 on Thanksgiving Day!
