LS Power Supports Hurricane Helene and Milton Relief Efforts

Community

Our hearts are with everyone impacted by the unprecedented devastation caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. In response to the immense challenges left behind in their wake, LS Power, its affiliates, and its employees collectively contributed ~$80,000 in philanthropic aid to support essential relief efforts.

At the corporate level, we supported the World Central Kitchen (WCK) with a $25,000 donation and applaud their efforts to quickly mobilize to the frontlines of affected areas, activating a network of food trucks and emergency kitchens to provide meals to people in need.

Additionally, we made donations to fire departments and regional assistance programs within and adjacent to the communities we operate, such as Team Rubicon, which provided aid across multiple locations in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.

In addition, LS Power launched an employee matching donation campaign, matching all employee donations 1:1 to raise ~$4,600 to support organizations including Airlink, American Red Cross, MANNA FoodBank, Mutual Aid Disaster Relief, and North Carolina Community Foundation.

We understand the importance of supporting our communities in times of need and welcome others to learn about these deserving organizations and their support of recovery and rebuilding efforts.

At LS Power, our commitment extends beyond the projects we develop. We believe in the power of collective action and strive to be a force for good in times of crisis. By supporting vital relief organizations and local responders, we aim to help create a stronger, more resilient future for all.
