Shout out on this #GivingTuesday to the LS Power Grid New York team for donating to these incredible organizations.  We are excited to keep the momentum going for 2025!

Since 1970, The Pride Center in Albany has been a steadfast pillar for the LGBTQ+ community, proudly holding the title of the longest-operating LGBTQ+ center in the United States. The Center provides essential health and human services, education, and advocacy, supporting individuals of all ages across the LGBTQ+ spectrum. In recognition of their vital work, LS Power is proud to contribute $5,000. This donation will help support upcoming volunteer initiatives and community activities, furthering the Center’s mission of empowerment and inclusion.

Capital Roots has been dedicated to combating poor nutrition and improving public health in the Capital Region since opening its first gardens in 1975, Today, the organization is a dynamic force, organizing community gardens, increasing access to healthy food, offering nutrition and horticulture education, and leading urban greening efforts across Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady, and southern Saratoga counties.  LS Power contributed $5,000 to support Capital Roots’ efforts in ensuring equitable access to fresh food and green spaces, contributing to a strong regional food system.

CAPTAIN Community Human Services empowers communities to achieve personal growth and self-sufficiency through volunteer-led initiatives. They’re dedicated to creating impactful solutions for social challenges, from feeding the hungry to supporting kids with special needs. LS Power’s has donated $5,000 in support of these vital efforts.

Trinity Alliance is dedicated to building healthy families, adults, and children by strengthening neighborhoods into supportive environments for family life. Focused on health, well-being, education, and employment, they empower individuals to grow and succeed. LS Power’s donated $5,000 in support of their valuable work.
