LS Power Announces Sale of Columbia Energy Center to South Carolina Electric & Gas Company

New York, NY – November  16, 2017 – LS Power Equity Advisors, through a private fund it manages, has entered into an agreement to sell the Columbia Energy Center to South Carolina Electric & Gas Company, subject to regulatory approvals. LS Power Equity Advisors originally acquired the project from Calpine Corporation in 2014 along with five other assets. The sale is expected to close in the first half of 2018.
