LS Power is working to
bring forward energy solutions to power America now and into the future
– solutions that are both safe and protective of the environment.
LS Power recognizes the
need for a portfolio of energy resources to meet the growing demand for
energy in a safe, reliable, and affordable manner. As such, LS Power
owns or is actively developing both power generation and transmission
infrastructure. This includes renewable generation, such as wind and
solar, and the supporting transmission infrastructure to take advantage
of the most prevalent renewable resources in the country.
LS Power is sensitive to
local and regional issues and customizes its projects accordingly. This
has included design features that promote the recycling or conservation
of water, allow for the use of biomass fuels, and provide co-generation
opportunities for neighboring industries.
LS Power’s modern plant
designs include some of the most efficient facilities of their kind in
the country, and use advanced control technologies to reduce emissions.
LS Power is providing
funding for advanced research for new technologies to further reduce
emissions. The result is a cleaner future.
