LS Power is engaged in the

generation and transmission infrastructure. LS

Power Generation
LS Power has been involved in the development,
construction or operations of over 25,000 MW of power
generation throughout the United States. LS Power
recognizes the need for diversity in power generation
resources working with its customers, such as
investor-owned utilities, electric cooperatives and
municipal utilities, to identify the best solutions for
new generation. LS Power currently owns and is
developing a diverse mix of power generation facilities
fueled by natural gas, coal, and renewable resources,
including wind and solar.
Transmission
LS Power has long identified the need to expand the
existing transmission system to accommodate new
generation. This has been especially pronounced in
recent years with regard to renewable resources in areas
remote from load centers. The skills and insight
developed in the power generation markets translate well
into the development and management of transmission
infrastructure. LS Power is actively developing
several long distance, high-voltage transmission
projects throughout the United States – projects to
bring attractive renewable generation to load and
improve the aging transmission system.
